Spring term 2011
The spring term will be a skills/exam term for all students. Across our three centres students will develop skills already acquired and learn new skills in dance, singing, drama and speech. At the end of the term, a small presentation will be shown to parents to see what work their child has been participating in that term. Alongside the normal sessions we will be offering the chance for students to take LAMDA exams in Acting, Speech, Mime, Improvisation, Devised Performance, Musical Theatre and IDTA Exams in Freestyle Dance. Students who would like to take LAMDA exams will be coached outside of Centre Stage by prior arrangement with teachers. All Freestyle Dance exam preparation will be done as part of the weekly dance classes students will have. All exams will be taken in late March / Early April - dates TBC. All students are invited to take exams in any of these subjects, and many of them often do.

CENTRE STAGE FUNDRAISING FOR CHILDREN IN NEED
Well done to everyone who didn't wear their uniform on 17th / 18th / 19th November in order to raise money for Children in Need. We raised £150.00 in total (£75 from students; £75 from CSTA). This figure,
added to the money paid for the t-shirts purchased for the Tap-a-thon by participants means that Centre
Stage has raised £230.00 in total for Children In Need this year, which is fantastic!

CENTRE STAGE FUNDRAISING FOR COMIC RELIEF
Well done to everyone who wore something red! - We raised £145 in total for comic relief.
