OUR DIRECTOR

LAURA-JANE

Hi! I’m Laura-Jane, and my passion for dance started when I was just 3 years old. Over the years, I’ve explored a wide range of styles, from Ballet to Street Jazz, and even Cheerleading. I’m a certified IDTA and UKDDF Dance Teacher, as well as an NCSSE Cheerleading Coach, and I bring over a decade of teaching experience to Studio 86. Now, I’m beyond excited to take on the role of Director at Centre Stage Theatre Arts (CSTA).

What makes this journey even more special is that my own performing arts story began right here at CSTA when I was a child. The friendships, memories, and skills I gained shaped my career and who I am today, and it's a true honour to help guide the next generation of young performers along their own creative paths.

Alongside my dance qualifications, I also hold a BEd in Primary Education, which highlights my dedication to making learning both fun and rewarding for students of all ages. I’m committed to ensuring that every child’s unique needs and abilities are supported, and my goal is to inspire a lifelong love of performing arts.

Behind the scenes, I’m lucky to work with an incredible team of professional teachers, each bringing years of experience and passion to CSTA. I’m so proud of this talented group, and I can’t wait for you to meet them! You can learn more about our amazing team below.

With six years of teaching experience, Jack has guided students through acting and singing exams with a 100% pass rate – all achieving either a merit or distinction. His passion for the performing arts shines through in every lesson, and he's thrilled to be part of the Centre Stage team.

We're incredibly lucky to have Jack leading our Musical Theatre department – keep an eye on what’s coming next!
